2010 PARTY SCHEDULE

The DHCA Social Committee extends a big mahalo to all of the members who supported our efforts by attending our events in 2009. We look forward to seeing more of you participate in the coming year.

We will again be hard at work this year organizing parties for your entertainment. Come on down to the DHCA communty center and meet your neighbors and join the fun. Mark your calendars for the following events.

           2ND ANNUAL COMMUNITY PRIDE DAY
MORNING CLEAN UP, PANCAKE BREAKFAST AND AFTERNOON PICNIC

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6TH, 2010

PART ONE 7:30am until 9am

A Morning Neighborhood clean-up of Discovery Harbour. Starting at 7:30am until 9am. Meet at the Discovery Harbour Community Center. Trash Bags, Maps and Water provided. Please wear bright colored clothing as you will at times be in the street and bring gloves, litter pickers if you have them.
Participants will then be treated to a FREE Breakfast starting at 9am until 10am served by the Social Committee.

PART TWO 3pm until ?

Afternoon Picnic on the lawn at Discovery Harbour Community Center. Starting at 3pm enjoy talking story with your friends, family and neighbors. Baby Back Ribs, Rotisserie Chicken, Drinks provided by Discovery Harbour. Please bring either a side dish, salad or dessert to share (enough for 6-8 people) and you may BYOB
Price is $5.00 per person, in advance (children under 12 eat free)  RSVP by September 2, 2010 by calling Discovery Harbour Office  at 929-9576 or Becky Johnson at 769-4072. You may stop in during business hours at the Discovery Harbour Community office  Monday, Wednesday or Friday 8am until noon to RSVP and purchase your tickets. Tickets at the door will be $6.00 per person.
